About Me

My name is Richard Lahr and I’m a graduate student at Tiffin University who is now pursuing an MBA with an emphasis in sports management degree.  I am currently employed as a police officer in the State of Colorado and have been for 25 years.  However, my passion for all sports and the feelings of satisfaction that comes with being a part of such a special calling, has led me to continue my education and to start pursuing my dreams of becoming an Athletic Director.

I cannot say how blessed I have been to be given the opportunity to complete my 200 hours mentorship with the Colorado High School Athletic Association (CHSAA).  The experience and knowledge that have obtained from my education and mentorship hours has provided me the tools needed to reach not only my professional goals but my aspirations of becoming a High School or College Athletic Director as well.

I am convinced that an individual with my background and experience will be of great value to your organization in the position of Athletic Director.  I have attached my resume for review and at your convenience, I would like the opportunity to meet with you to discuss the goals and objectives of your organization and how my experiences and abilities will help in fulfilling them.

Thank you for taking your time to learn more about me and for your consideration.  I’m looking forward to hearing from you soon.

Sincerely,

Richard Lahr
